I have to say I was very keen on the idea of Andrew Strauss as England captain and I still am. He seems to have really enjoyed the role and his batting has come on with the extra responsibility, but the lack of courage in declaring could get to be a bit of an issue.
In Antigua he waited far, far too long and today with a test match series on the line again the moment came and went. Very disappointing. One wonders how the very negative looking Windies will react to what should be a gettable score. As a cricket fan foremost, I'd like to see them really go for it. Shame I don't think they will...
